Crafting Tomorrow

Turn climate problems into solutions. Crafting Tomorrow supports young people to identify local climate challenges, develop ideas, build prototypes and test practical solutions.

The cohort

What participants receive.

Cohorts are deliberately small and problem-anchored. Participants work on defined institutional gaps, not open-ended ideas.

Problem briefs

Real readiness gaps sourced from Index findings and partner institutions.

Technical training

Climate evidence, solution design, and implementation practice.

Mentorship

Practitioners, researchers and institutional advisers attached to each team.

Prototype support

Structured build cycles with review checkpoints.

Institutional exposure

Direct presentation to the governments, schools and funders that could adopt the work.

Alumni network

A continuing network of climate-ready practitioners across the continent.

Why it matters institutionally

Talent is part of readiness.

An institution cannot be climate-ready without people who can design and run climate work. Crafting Tomorrow builds that pipeline, and gives partners early access to it.

Pilot cohort

Graduating fellows
